To mark the Autumn Equinox on 23rd September, Jite will hold a special practice to allow you to welcome in the new season with balance and clarity.
The focus will be on understanding our relationship with the natural world through the sister sciences of Ayurveda (the ancient holistic health system) and Yoga. In particular, how the qualities of the autumn season work within us physically, emotionally and mentally and how simple adjustments to our diet, lifestyle and yoga practice can support us during this period.
You are invited to slow down and discover tools to feel more grounded, centred and brave as we transition into the cold and dark season.
This session will include theory and practice, so please come prepared. It is suitable for all levels and ideal for anyone practising Yoga as exercise, therapy, or personal development.
About Jite:
A few months after I started teaching Yoga in 2008, I discovered Ayurveda and began integrating its ancient wisdom into my daily life. This completely transformed my level of wellbeing and enabled me to go further along the Yogic path. In 2013 I became a certified Suryashtanga yoga teacher, and have been part of Surya World’s Yoga and Ayurveda Teachers Training team since 2015. I have been visiting India consistently since 2008, most extensively in the southern regions of Tamil Nadu and Kerala to explore the science of Yoga, Ayurveda and Meditation practices with Stephane Chollet and the Surya World group.
