SPICE UP YOUR YOGA PRACTICE !
4 evenings focused on the aspects of Yoga that are rarely covered in a regular class. 4 workshop-style classes where you can be a student; take notes, ask questions, introspect.

The intention behind this course is for you to delve a bit deeper into the YOGA = SCIENCE concept, not only to gain knowledge but to have a direct experience with topics that are normally passed on to students only when they undertake a teacher training. As a teacher at Reykjavik Yoga, Klara believes that it's her duty to share the knowledge to anyone that wants to learn.

YOGA MASALA will include the blend of:

SIMPLE KRIYAS
Purification techniques, focused mainly on digestion as this is a topic students have been inquiring about a lot and have had great results. In traditional Hatha Yoga this a first step for a Yoga practitioner.

THE "WHY" BEHIND ASANAS
Why do we do what we do on the mat? Why all these poses; why to bend forward, bend back and twist ? ' Why? ' is an important question of any student. Come curious.

PRANAYAM
Breathwork and its aspects are becoming more and more popular and people are recognizing its power. We will look at different techniques that are simple and safe to practice, when you later on go and practice on your own.

MEDITATION
"If you have time to breathe, you have time to meditate" -
Ajahn Chah.

YOGA AS THERAPY
THof years. Now we are turning to Yoga as a complimentary therapy to daily life, to our body and mind.
