Feeling the holiday stress? Stretched thin? Join me in the deeper stretch inwards on the 16th December for a two hour Yin Yoga practice.

With Christmas around the corner the chances are that you might have a busy schedule, on top of a busy life. How about commiting to a couple of hours with only yourself, where there is nothing to do but stretch your body - a stretch into just being.

Yin yoga is a practice of stillness and mindulness. Throughout the class you will be lead into Yoga asanas, or shapes that stretch a certain area of your body. This stretch is a deep one, working on the myofascial network of the body, allowing you to release deeper set tension that in your normal flow class. Whilst you stretch your body, you are also tapping into the eneregy system of Traditional Chinise Medicine, the meridians.

Yin Yoga is not a restorative practice, and you will be asked to prop your body to a level of a comfortable discomfort, what I will refer to as you Edge, your 7/10 on the level of sensations. .You will be asked to stay in your shape for a sustained period of time, from about 3-10 minutes, adjusting your edge as needed. During this time we will be observing our sensations, our breath and the effects of those on the mind.

This will be an opportunity to stretch deeper, into your body and into your mind.

This workshop is for ALL LEVELS, anyone from beginners to seasoned practitioners welcome !
